Welcome to our Green space on the Internet

We should start by telling you that we know a lot about Green Building. For example, we know an existing home produces more pollution than a car. And we know buildings account for 50% of all energy usage in the United States. But, at the end of the day, we are just some home builders in Cincinnati, Ohio who are trying to make a difference in the way new homes are constructed. We are not tree huggers. We believe that in the future, building more energy efficient & environmentally responsible homes is something everyone will do. But, we see it as our responsibility to build to these standards today.
This blog is not intended to be the end-all be-all on the topic of green building. In fact we’ll be the first to tell you that some green features aren’t worth the added expense. In the grand green scheme of things, we still subscribe to the philosophy that if it’s not a) convenient and b) money saving (or at least no additional cost), then we’re not going to put it in our own homes. And if we don’t see the payback or the benefit, then how are we supposed to convince others it’s worth it?
So you see, we won’t go on and on about how everyone should install wind turbines & solar panels to power their homes or harvest rainfall in order to water the lawn, but we might just surprise you with some insight on how to live a greener life in and out of your home. And, while we’re at it, we’ll probably talk about other things too. We hope you’ll want to listen

I found your blog on Google, I am very excited about this information, I am also very excited about green homes, I will be checking on your blog very soon
