Vacant Lot Inventory Drops 12%

Posted By on October 13, 2010

In the last twelve months single family developed inventory in the Greater Cincinnati seven county region dropped from 12,124 to 10,659.  These numbers represent a net change with over 700 new lots coming on line from future phases of the 800 subdivisions DataQuest tracks in this region.

Single family standing inventory (houses completed but unoccupied) saw a net decrease from 649 to 571 in the same time period.

Despite mixed signals from the housing market in general, local new home and lot inventories are moving in the right direction.
