YouthBuild Program
One of the largest and most comprehensive human services providers in the region, Easterseals serving Greater Cincinnati (ESGC) provides dedicated programs and services for nearly 7,000 individuals who face obstacles to education, employment and their quality of life. ESGC’s complete continuum of programs and services provide proven employment and personal development solutions for individuals with disabilities, individuals with disadvantages, and veterans.
The support of the Charles H. Dater Foundation provided Easterseals with the resources to serve 125 youth through its ESGC YouthBuild program. YouthBuild helps disadvantaged youth to attain their GED while providing credentialed training, practical experience and employment opportunities in the construction trade – one of the most “in-demand” industries in the region. Just as importantly, YouthBuild teaches at-risk youth the value of hard work, dedication and personal accountability – all while rehabiliting dilapidated properties for low-income families in the community.
