Arts Integrated Workshops
The Carnegie provides arts education programming to more than 60 area schools and youth organizations as part of its mission to fill the creative and artistic gap in Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati. A Dater grant supported Arts Integrated Workshops, which focus on reinforcing the core-curriculum, self-esteem, positive behaviors and building perseverance through hands-on art-making experiences. Children served by this programming range from pre-K through 5th grade and many would not otherwise have access to music, visual arts, dance or drama. Carnegie workshops also include professional development in arts integration for teachers and administrators providing them with the knowledge and tools to reach and engage learners from all backgrounds and abilities.
