Scaling for Impact Capital Campaign
Learning Grove’s rich history started over forty years ago when two nonprofits – Children, Inc. and Cincinnati Early Learning Centers -- were founded. Both organizations had the same vision: a future where all children and families have the knowledge, capabilities, and confidence to achieve lifelong success.
Support for the campaign exceeded the $5 million goal to raise $5,179,243 which could not have been achieved without the generous support of the Dater Foundation. The Scaling for Impact Campaign achieved the following: (1) built bright futures for children in our region, with the opening of five new centers, serving an additional 398 children; (2) funded our annual scholarship budget for low income families; and (3) expanded research based programs from Learning Grove’s Innovation Lab, providing parents, teachers, and early learning stakeholders with research-based tools and programming that support holistic development.
The Dater Foundation's total commitment to the Capital Campaign is $250,000 over five years, beginning with this $50,000 grant in 2017-18.
