Education and Community Engagement Program
Support by the Dater Foundation allowed the continuation and expansion of CCO’s partnership with Music for Youth in Cincinnati (MYCincinnati). In 2-hour sessions, CCO string and wind musicians provided lessons to MYCincinnati students. They worked on technique, sound, and other crucial issues in detail with proven results. On May 19, 2018 the CCO and MYCincinnati combined their talents for a free public side-by-side concert at the Sanctuary in Lower Price Hill. The grant also allowed CCO musicians to perform free programs at Childrens Hospital and CAIN Ministries in Northside.
