Miracle League Baseball Program
n collaboration with The Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields and the Charles H. Dater Foundation, the Great Miami Valley YMCA Youth Miracle League Baseball Program serves as the collaborative partner providing youth instructional baseball programming to children with intellectual, physical and developmental disabilities from throughout the community and region. The YMCA Youth Miracle League program provides scholarship opportunities for children and families to participate, regardless of their ability to pay. While the YMCA had nearly 100 children registered to play baseball prior to the Covid quarantine in the Spring of 2020, the Fall season did resume in August, with 30 children participating. The Spring 2021 season has nearly 80 children registered. The Dater Foundation's support makes this possible.
