Great Miami Valley YMCA Youth Miracle League Baseball Program
In collaboration with The Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields, The Great Miami Valley YMCA Youth Miracle League Baseball Program serves as the collaborative partner providing youth instructional baseball programming to children with intellectual, physical and developmental disabilities throughout our community and region. In conjunction with the mission of the YMCA, The Great Miami Valley YMCA Youth Miracle League program provides scholarship opportunities for children and families to participate, regardless of their ability to pay.
Program Goals:
To provide children with intellectual, physical and developmental disabilities throughout the Butler County community and region with scholarship opportunities to play in The Great Miami Valley Youth Miracle League Baseball Program.
Program Results:
The GMV Y Youth Miracle League continues to soar to new heights, marking a remarkable success story in community engagement and inclusivity. With eight teams comprising 14-15 enthusiastic players each, the league's spring and fall sessions of 2023 were vibrant showcases of unity and passion for the game. But the impact of the league transcends mere statistics; it's about the families it serves.
Through the shared love of baseball, the GMV Y Youth Miracle League exemplifies the power of sports to bring people together, regardless of ability or background. It's a testament to the dedication of volunteers, organizers, and supporters who tirelessly work to make dreams a reality for those involved.
In the spring and fall sessions of 2023, we had the privilege of hosting eight teams, each comprising 14-15 enthusiastic players. This wouldn't have been possible without the generous support of the Dater Foundation, enabling us to extend our reach and impact. Through their contribution, we were able to provide essential services to over 100 families, enriching lives and strengthening bonds within our community.
