Culinary Education & Nutrition Program

Best Point (BP) is committed to advancing work experiences and opportunities for individuals with developmental, mental, and behavioral health conditions. Our primary goal is to support, educate, and enhance the job and life skills of young individuals, both inside and outside the classroom, while providing them with work experiences that can lead to permanent positions.

As we develop our campus and community work experiences, we recognize the importance of expanding our culinary and nutritional education programs. The culinary arts career path has been a significant interest among our students, aligning perfectly with our emphasis on health and nutrition.

At BP, we prioritize the health, wellness, and nutrition education of all students. This approach provides at-risk youth to nutritious foods, offers them essential life skills, and explores potential culinary careers.

For transitioning youth, we provide structured culinary programming, including professional development, certifications, and hands-on experiences in our food service area.

By continuing and growing our culinary and nutritional education, we aim to empower students, equipping them with skills for success in the culinary arts while promoting a healthy lifestyle.
