LifeCenter’s Celebrate Life Calendars 2018 and 2019
LifeCenter Organ Donor Network is a nonprofit organ and tissue procurement agency working to save, enhance and change lives. The LifeCenter Calendar is an ongoing outreach and educational project that for 16 years has been a staple in LifeCenter’s campaign to register and educate tristate residents to the importance of organ and tissue donation. Within its pages, readers encounter stories from local people who have received a life-saving transplant, the stories of donor families who chose to give the greatest gift to complete strangers, and stories of those who are still awaiting their second chance at life. In addition to being displayed throughout hospitals, businesses, and homes, the calendar was distributed to over 165 area high schools and charter schools within LifeCenter’s 16 county service area reaching hundreds of thousands of young people at a critical time as they begin driving and make their own decision about organ and tissue donation. With the help and support of the Dater Foundation, LifeCenter is helping to save and enhance more lives every day.

Note: Two separate grants were made in the 2017-18 grant year … one for $6,000 in October 2017 for the 2018 calendar and the other for $15,000 in August 2018 for the 2019 calendar.
