When no grant application was received by June 2023, the Foundation made a "renewal grant" for the program for which funding had been provided in the previous year. Program Results:
No formal Grant Evaluation Report was submitted with results for the program. This “Success Narrative” was submitted in February2024.
Thanks to the generous support from the Charles H. Dater Foundation, Envision Children has been able to sustain and expand the A Great Somebody Program, especially in partnership with Pleasant Hill Academy. The grant has played a vital role in ensuring that qualified facilitators are retained to deliver high-quality instruction to our students. This support has been instrumental in addressing the educational needs of underserved youth populations across Greater Cincinnati. The population served includes students from low-to-moderate-income families, primarily in urban and diverse areas, who often encounter barriers to accessing quality educational resources. With the grant, we've provided tailored instruction and academic support to empower students and foster positive academic outcomes. Additionally, the grant has facilitated organizational changes, including leadership transitions and program enhancements, to maximize our impact and sustainability in the community.
