Making The Turn
At First Tee – GCNKY, we are making the turn from a year disrupted by COVID into a year that we plan to reach more children through our School Programming and Community Outreach opportunities than ever before. In the 2021-2022 school year, our goal is to ensure that the schools in our network are delivering services consistently, as we fulfill program expansion with Boone County schools and grow into Butler and Warren County schools in Ohio. As we turn this bend, we now request support of $20,000 to support our Community and School programming for children, many of whom are underserved, that addresses children’s needs for physical activity and social-emotional learning by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values, and promote healthy choices. The Charles H. Dater Foundation's past support has helped First Tee – GCNKY meet kids where they are when they are not able to access our golf courses, and your ongoing support of First Tee - GCNKY will allow us to serve thousands of children while expanding our reach into more schools.
Program Goals:
-Reach more children through our School Programming and Community Outreach opportunities than ever before.
- Ensure that the schools in our network are delivering services consistently, as we fulfill program expansion with Boone County schools and grow into Butler and Warren county schools in Ohio.
-Expand the First Tee school program to reach 30,000 students, add 10 new school partners, and increase the number of Title 1 schools that we partner with, which will allow us to reach more diverse and low income students.
Program Results:
* Reached 28,165 students through our First Tee School Program
* Added 12 new school partners with a total enrollment of 6,249 students:

4. St. John the Baptist Catholic School
5. St. Therese School
6. Delshire Elementary
7. Steeplechase Elementary
8. LEAP Academy at North Fairmont
9. St. Bernard Elementary
10. Lebanon Jr. High School
11. Our Lady of Victory
12. Dater High School
* Increased Title I school partnerships by 7 with a total of 56/100 School Program Partners as Title I.
* Ensured our active schools maintained First Tee - GCNKY compliance by delivering consistent services backed by our research-based teaching tactics that promote social-emotional learning
* Expanded into Boone County, KY with Steeplechase Elementary and Warren County, OH with Lebanon Junior High School.
* In total, 25/100 School Program Partners are in Boone, Butler, or Warren Counties.
We are also in the process of reequipping existing GMV partners with aging equipment - Ridgeway, Rosa Parks, and Amanda Elementary.

* Summit View Academy
* Mercy McAuley High School (In process)
* Incarnation School (in process)
